EME Calculator Ver 7.04 with full Adjustable Screen Sizing
Increased definition of Dish size input to cater for small dishes. (now nearest 100mm)
Coaxial Cable attenuation updated (Rx Performance option) Build date 26th August 2009
All but significant changes have be made to this new generation version where, as a result of careful 'real world' measurements, the achieved values of dish efficiency
have been refined. Spill over values, referenced to a 45 degree elevation, have similarly been adjusted. The resultant changes provide a high degree of theoretical to
achievable correlation and now approach practical measurement capabilities. My appreciation to Peter G3LTF for all his considerable assistance and suggestions in this upgrade.
Those that use yagi arrays will still need to derive their own 'spillover', side lobes, and 'feed thru' ,front to back values commensurate with their own installation. The
variables are just too large to provide a meaningful result but can be obtained from actual polar plots.
This revision also includes another VE4MA 'standard option feed' and now caters for both flush and 0.15L (normal) ring configurations.
In addition I have included a Planet 'reality check' calculation option for those that believe EVE is feasible from your back yard! A demonstration station file Venus-EVE.cal,
based on known values of the Bochum Dish, has been included for your interest. Integral Help file has been updated to reflect the changes.
