This temperature monitoring system is great for monitoring Linear Amp output temperature, drive motor temperatures, drive enclosure temperatures, AZ & EL feedback containment boxes, etc, etc.

The nice part of this system is that it requires only a very simple interface to a Com Port and two wires.  You can place as many of the DS-1820 digital temperature devices as you wish on the same pair of two wires, up to a distance to the last device of 300 meters.

You can install a switch and run a second, third, fourth, fifth, etc, etc pair of wires. Monitor the temperature in your shack, and/or every room in the house if desired.
