| This is a JTAG board I made to program Luis, CT1DMK's excellent VCXO board, and it works great. One word of caution, the cable length from the DB9 to the JTAG header connector should be as
short as possible. The cable used here is approx. 20" long from the JTAG interface board that connect directly to the Parallel Port.
There is not a lot to explain, and it is all here, either in Image form, or CirCad98 .sch & .pcb format, these two files are zipped for downloading together. If anyone has a question please contact me at mail to: ve1alq@nbnet.nb.ca . Please note that ALL numbering on the board in a brownish colour identifies the corresponding DB25 and JTAG header Pins. Luis has done a great job on his contribution to VCXO stabilization and I hope this will help those in need of same project. There are considerable comments and descriptions of VCXO's to follow, especially in the low phase noise designs, that are not quite ready at this time. ByteBlaster Classic: Schematic

Zipped File for CirCad98 of Schematic & Artwork of Classic Version Download If someone wishes to obtain a board already etched please contact me. Zipped File for CirCad98 of Schematic & Artwork for MV version Download. I strongly recommend the Classic version. Speaking of CirCad98, the only feature that is not available in the non-registered version is Gerber Output. If anyone wishes a Gerber file made from one of their drawing please forward it to me in zipped format and I will produce the Gerber file for them. Regards & Thanks, Darrell Top
