i.e. NO solder between traces and that all connections are secured.

Before installing any IC's apply the VCC +5VDC and ensure that the VCC is available at the required IC pin locations, AND NO other locations.

Do a point to point continuity check on all the DATA line from socket to socket, from the top of the sockets.   At the same time check between each adjoining DATA line that there is not contact between DATA lines.





This should complete all component installation and the IC's can now be installed and the system checked out as per the calibration procedure.
