The object in setting up one of these PLL Systems is to have the PLL operate at a 50% duty cycle then locked. If this can not be attained then component values should be adjusted or components changed to allow adjustment through the 50% duty cycle range. This new PLL Board has facilities to adjust the Loop Gain therefore making the necessity to change, or select VariCaps much, much less critical than any of the other boards that have been available.
