Single Tube 7289 Linear Amplifier.
Below are thumb nail images of machines & milled components used to assemble a single N6CA designed 7289 (2C39AW) cavity for 1296Mhz. With a good tube this amplifier is very capable of 200W output with an anode voltage of 1350VDC key down.
Click on each thumb nail image for a larger view of each component, then use your "BACK BUTTON" to return to normal thumb nail view of this page.
These Cavities are machined and milled from NEW virgin stock material, NO reused materials at all.
If you are interested in one of these single tube cavities completely assembled & tested please get in touch with me. This is still a Hobby, Perhaps we can even talk a TRADE, hi.

Below (at bottom of this page), are schematics of the bias supplies I have used for many years and has with stood many internal flashovers within a tube without a single component failure. One version uses current ( Ik ), limiting that is completely adjustable. This current limiting version is especially useful if this amplifier is used as a driver and MAX. power is not a requirement.
