I have built several pair of these Diploes and with excellent success. Return losses runs in the magnitude of  -26db and closer to -28db when fine tuned using a Bridge & Crystal detector arrangement. I found the line into the Balun had to be lathe machined to acquire the return losses achieved, and have yet to find a brass rod of 0.179" in diameter.

These Dipoles are constructed from thick wall (0.029), Brass Tubing, not the usual 0.014 wall material used on these Dipoles.

Below are images of a couple finished dipoles after being tuned and removed from the 27.5" round back plane. Please click to enlarge, then use your "Back Button" on your Browser to return.

A pair of these have been tuned and ready to go at -28db return loss. The coupling link between the two 1/4 wave sections is silver "flat stock" 1/32 thick.  Selling price is $125.00USD per Pair, + Shipping NOT included Belden phasing sections with "N" connectors

This is schematic Image of dipoles.

I have been using a pair of these for a number of years, and have built several others. If for any reason a buyer is NOT happy with the Dipoles all Moneys less shipping happily refunded upon return of undamaged pair.  This is a hobby and I build to help decrease the long days, especially during the winter months.

This whole package may be download as a PDF file if you wish,  To save PDF without starting (opening), your PDF reader please "RIGHT click the file and "save target as".  This operation varies from Browser to Browser, but are all quite similar. The PDF file includes Back Plane Drawings & Dimensions as well, size is approx. 1.8Meg, much smaller than individual Images, also much easier to view & print.
